As the gel is being applied after each coat the nails will be put under a UV light to dry and make the gel stiffen. Once a coat of gel is applied the hands will be placed under a UV light so more gel can be applied.

Acrylic nails are applied in a process where nail tips are added to the client’s natural nails. The extensions have to be securely in place before the technician cuts them down to size. The technician will then brush the nails again with a glue over the top and then dip the nails attached to the hand into the acrylic powder and then with the same brush you have been using dot the glue onto the nail and stoke until it is even. Over and over your nail is dipped until the extension has been created, the nails now get given a good filing into shape!
