Manicure and Pedicure
A manicure isn’t just something to make your nails and hands look nice it is also a hand massage which will leave your hands feeling soft and smooth. A manicure consists of a soaking of the hands in some kind of special hand lotion followed by a massage of the hands. The nail technician will then push the cuticles and remove and dead skin and secondary cuticle. There are manicure treatments using a varying degree of products for example there is a ‘mini manicure’ which consists of a file, shape, polish and some light cuticle work leaving out the massage. Then there is middle of the range manicure which will evolve all of he above but will also incorporate some kind of exfoliate or hand mask finished with a luxuriating moisturising massage. Last but by no means least is the deluxe manicure that usually last for an hour and will have everything specified before with a long massage which will soften your hands and sooth your senses. A pedicure is a treatment for the feet which like a manicure there are many different types of pedicure from basic to express and a few others in between. In the summer here, many of our ladies need their toes and feet to look lovely with a pedicure to go with their new shoes and clothes. A pedicure is the same kind of treatment as a manicure just it’s for the feet and really focuses on the removal of dead skin. It goes without saying that a manicure and pedicure is the best thing get done if you need to relax and will leave you feeling fresh from your hands to your toes!
French manicure
Pink and white is a French manicure using acrylic powder mixed with acrylic liquid to make the French polish look that’s lasts until you are ready for your in-fill as opposed to using nail varnish which may only last a few days. There a many benefits of this treatment one of them being they look incredibly natural and two you don’t have to wear nail polish if you don’t want to as it lasts as long as the nails do, this was the reason for the treatment getting the name the ‘forever French’. Another advantage, if the client has been a severe nail biter and has damaged their nail beds the technician can opt to use a more opaque pink acrylic powder to hide those imperfections and once again leaving the nail extensions looking natural.
Nail Extensions
There are many different types of nail extensions available; within our company of nail technicians will be able to provide you with all of them. The two type of nail extensions we offer are UV gel nail extensions and acrylic nail extensions, we do not offer other types of nail extensions as we do not believe others to be worth our time and your money. UV gel nail extensions and Acrylic nail extensions both look like natural nails and are both very strong products.
Toe Nail Extensions
Yes its possible people do have toe nail extensions, celebrities started the craze with us mere mortals wondering how they got their toe nails looking so perfect. We eventually found out this was achieved by using the pink and white technique, bare in mind this can only be done properly with sufficiently long nails to start with. Many clients have taken to just having a false tip on their big toes but having all the toe nails applied with pink and white acrylic, alternatively you can opt for either clear or painted nail varnish in a colour of your choice and once you take the nail polish off you will be left with shiny nails because you had the ‘forever French’.
Paraffin Wax
This uses a paraffin wax that melts at a lower temperature to normal wax and therefore it doesn’t burn your skin. Your hands are either placed in a paraffin wax pot or the solution gets poured or painted onto your hands then hot mittens will be placed on your hands. The mittens and the paraffin glaze over the coarse of a very relaxing ten minutes they work together to lock in the moister and on removal of the mittens the paraffin will have formed a skin tight glove that once peeled off will leave your hands silky soft. A paraffin wax is especially good for anyone with arthritis and any other joint and bone problems.
